Terms of use
Compound · last updated 2 August 2026
Compound is distributed through the App Store under Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which governs your use of the app. What follows is the short version.
What you get
A personal, non-transferable licence to use Compound on devices you own or control. The app itself, its design and the program it contains remain mine.
What you can’t do
Redistribute it, resell it, or pull it apart to rebuild it as something else. Running the program in your own gym, for as long as you like, is the whole idea.
Not medical advice
Compound is a training log with a program in it, not a coach and not a clinician. The exercises, weights, rep targets and rest times it shows are a plan to work from, not a prescription, and the app has no way to know your health, your injuries or your form.
Lifting carries a risk of injury. Talk to a doctor before starting a new program, particularly if you have a condition or an injury; work within what you can do safely; use a spotter or safety bars on heavy lifts; and stop if something hurts. The app will suggest a heavier weight the session after you earn it — whether to take it is always your call.
No warranty
The app is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. It won’t be liable for injury, lost training data, or anything else arising from using it.
Purchases
Anything you buy is sold and billed by Apple, and managed in your device’s App Store settings. Refunds are Apple’s to give, at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Changes
These terms may change with a new version of the app. The current version always lives at this address.
